Our client in Clare, MI,  is seeking a General Fabrication to join their team. As a General Fabrication, you will be part of the production team supporting various projects. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: General Fabrication

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Range: $15.50 an hour to $16.50 an hour - depending on shift

Shift:
1st - 8 am to 4 pm
3rd - 12 am to 8 am
**overtime is scheduled prior to shift start time for any shift - overtime can be heavy at times

 

What's Needed?

High School diploma or equivalent. Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure. must be able to pass a tape measure test Preferred experience in reading and interpreting blueprints. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly. Strong communication skills to effectively confer with team leaders regarding safety, quality, and production issues.

What's the Job?

Fabricate products by performing necessary operating functions on various machinery including drill presses, vertical mills, and saws. Position parts according to work orders, routing, and prints, ensuring precision in fabrication. Perform drilling, sanding, punching, and cutting while maintaining high standards of quality. Document all labor and downtime accurately, maintaining thorough records for each work order. Adhere to all safety rules to ensure a clean, accident-free, and healthy work environment.
