Aphios Corporation, an emerging-growth, clinical-stage biotechnology company, is developing green, enabling technology platforms and enhanced therapeutics for health maintenance and the treatment of serious diseases including cancer, HIV, Alzheimer’s disease, pain, and opioid use disorder.

We are currently seeking a Part-Time General Chemist to support cutting-edge research in nanotechnology-based drug delivery systems targeting neurological diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease and opioid use disorder. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team working on the front lines of health innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct research on the delivery of CBD and other small molecules across the blood-brain barrier using nanotechnology. Perform analyses using HPLC, LC/MS/MS, and standard laboratory equipment. Work collaboratively in a high-energy life sciences environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of research experience in chemistry or a related field. Strong proficiency with analytical instrumentation, especially HPLC and LC/MS/MS. Experience with small molecules (including cannabinoids) and drug delivery systems is preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
