Join our team and start your journey today! **ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES** We are seeking a highly skilled General Accounting Senior Analyst within our Global Business Services (GBS). This role will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day processing of general accounting transactions, ensuring accuracy in entries, while compiling financial reports and analysis. **ACCOUNTABILITIES** + Supervise the general accounting team with 2-7 direct reports, providing leadership, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment to drive performance and professional development. + Oversee daily financial data entry in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Prepare and post journal entries and manage general ledger account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity. + Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring all financial activities are accurately captured. Prepare detailed financial data for management review and facilitate necessary adjustments. + Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts, providing insightful variance analysis and reports that deliver actionable insights for informed decision-making. + Review and present financial reports to ensure compliance with accounting standards and local regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial data and streamline reporting processes. + Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the general accounting function, ensuring alignment with the company’s financial goals and risk management strategies. + Develop ad-hoc reports and support special projects, such as financial data analysis and process improvements **QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE** Essential: + Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, Business Administration or a related field + 4 - 7 years of relevant experience with general accounting. + Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate reports. + Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines Preferred: + Master’s degree in a relevant field or Chartered Accountant designation **TECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE** Essential: + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite + Familiarity with financial software and Oracle + Solid regional accounting knowledge (i.e., US GAAP and IFRS) **LANGUAGE/S** + Philippines: Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one additional language (Thai, Mandarin, German, or Spanish), both spoken and written, is preferred **OTHER DETAILS** + Amenable to work on shifting schedules + Amenable to work in Quezon City + Amenable to work 3x/week in the office + Amenable to work during PH Holidays **Our Commitment to Our People** Across the globe, we are united by a singular Purpose: Sustainability is no small ambition.
