Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced General Accountant to join our head office in Jordan. This role is critical in managing and overseeing accounting activities across all our operating countries. The ideal candidate must be hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of independently handling all accounting functions from A to Z. You will also supervise entry-level accountants based in our Gulf branches and consolidate regional reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle all accounting functions in Jordan from bookkeeping to final accounts
Manage and support country-level accountants across the Gulf region
Prepare and consolidate monthly/quarterly/annual Profit & Loss reports
Oversee audit processes and ensure compliance with internal and external financial policies
Reconcile accounts, manage payables and receivables, and oversee payroll for the Jordan office
Prepare reports and provide financial insights to management
Collaborate with external auditors and government agencies when required
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with proven skills in full-cycle accounting
Strong expertise in auditing and financial reporting
Fluent in both Arabic and English (written and spoken)
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP systems)
Ability to manage multiple entities and consolidate cross-border accounts
High attention to detail, integrity, and a problem-solving mindset
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Experience in managing remote teams or branch accountants
Previous experience in the recycling, manufacturing, or logistics industry is a plus
Ability to travel on monthly basis to variuos branches in Gulf region to preform neccerly audits .
