The role aims to be recognized as a trusted finance team member. This role supports the finance lead in all training and development activities to develop best-in-class finance professionals and assists in developing their finance team. This role supports a robust control and compliance environment and contributes to implement EMEA Operations Finance innovations and projects.

As a general accountant we rely on you to:

\n\nCarry out all assigned finance processes & tasks accurately, timely, reliably and with a high level of trustworthiness and integrity\nAssist in processing billing for hotel guests and departments\nAssist in resolving outstanding balances\nAssist in receiving and consolidating all cash and preparing for bank deposits\nMaintain records of cash receipts and transactions and prepare General Cashier's report\nProcess outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures\nPerform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data\nReconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.\nVerify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements\nGenerate reports detailing accounts payables status\nUnderstand expense accounts and cost centers\nEnsure compliance with internal control procedures and financial policies\n

What are we looking for?

\n\nExtensive knowledge in Microsoft Excel\nAccounting qualification\nKnowledge of accounting principles\nPrevious experience in accounting role\nAbility to analyze large volume of complex financial information from many sources and create reports, forecasts, and projections\nDetail oriented and organized\nSimilar experience in hospitality and SUN system knowledge is an advantage\n\n
