The hourly pay range for this role is estimated to be $19-$23 per hour at the time of the posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, student classification/year of study, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in building and testing agentic frameworks that interact with real-world warehouse datasetsDevelop and prompt large language models (LLMs) or multimodal agents to perform specific warehouse automation tasksCreate tools and workflows to orchestrate multi-agent decision making, task planning, and executionDesign and implement integration of AI agents into broader system architectures, collaborating with platform, infrastructure, and other software engineers to ensure seamless deployment

Basic Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Engineering, or a related fieldHands-on experience with Python and at least one AI/ML library such as PyTorch or TensorFlowFamiliarity with prompt engineering and use of frameworks such as LangChain, Hugging Face, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systemsUnderstanding of basic reinforcement learning, planning algorithms, or agent-based modelingCuriosity, creativity, and a strong desire to apply AI to industrial use cases

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using GenAI tools such as OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or open-source LLMsExposure to simulation environments like OpenAI Gym, Unity, Isaac Sim, or NVIDIA OmniverseFamiliarity with cloud environments (GCP, Azure, or AWS)Prior coursework or research in agentic systems, computer vision, or digital twins
