What will you do?  As a **Data** **Scientist** on our generative AI and LLMs prototyping team, you will: + Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts using Large Language Models (LLMs), focusing on prompt engineering, tool integration, and structured output parsing. + Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, including document processing, text chunking, embedding generation, and vector database integration. + Explore agentic AI frameworks like LangGraph and AutoGen to create autonomous workflows for specific business use cases. + Collaborate with the AI Product Management team to define requirements and ensure alignment with project goals. + Dedicate 10% of your time to exploring emerging techniques in generative AI and contributing to the team's applied research initiatives. This position works directly with Slovakia based engineering leadership and Cat Digital Data & AI in the US. What you have: + Practical experience with prompt engineering and LLM application development. + Working knowledge of RAG systems, including text extraction, embedding techniques, and vector databases. + Experience in applying Python to implement AI solutions, particularly in the generative AI space (OpenAI, LangChain, Pandas). + Familiarity with agentic frameworks concepts and willingness to learn tools like LangGraph or AutoGen. + Understanding of traditional Machine Learning techniques and how they complement generative AI applications. + Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and work collaboratively in a research-oriented environment.
