**Your role and responsibilities**
* Administer, configure, and maintain IBM Maximo and MAS environments.
* Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues.
* Manage database performance, tuning, and maintenance, particularly with Db2 and other relational databases.
* Lead and support Maximo to MAS migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal downtime.
* Deploy, configure, and manage MAS components within Kubernetes environments.
* Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
* Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with enterprise policies.
* Work with cross-functional teams to support integrations with third-party systems.
* Automate routine tasks using scripting and DevOps methodologies.
* Provide guidance and support for upgrade and patch management.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
We are seeking an experienced IBM Maximo/MAS Administrator with a minimum of 8 years of experience working with IBM Maximo and MAS (Maximo Application Suite). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in managing Maximo environments, troubleshooting issues, and working closely with developers. Experience with Maximo to MAS migration is essential. The candidate should also have a solid understanding of databases, such as Db2, and familiarity with Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
* Minimum 8 years of experience with IBM Maximo and MAS.
* Strong understanding of Maximo architecture, configurations, and administration.
* Experience with Maximo to MAS migration.
* Proficiency in working with databases such as Db2, Oracle, or SQL Server.
* Understanding of Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
* Experience troubleshooting application and infrastructure issues.
* Familiarity with cloud environments and infrastructure-as-code principles is a plus.
* Strong scripting and automation skills.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
* Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
* Knowledge of DevOps tools and methodologies.
* Certification in IBM Maximo or MAS is a plus.
* Familiarity with middleware technologies and integration frameworks.
