Job description

Infosys is seeking a GCP Cloud Engineer. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with Application Engineers and Subject Matter Experts.

Required Qualifications:Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Dallas, TX or be willing to relocate to these areas. This position may require travel in the US.Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.At least 3 years of automation experience in Cloud Platform engineering domain.At least 3 years of experience in Kubernetes and Terraform. Experience in CI/CD Tech Stack. Possess a firm understanding of the offerings within Google Cloud Platform (GCP). All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications:Based on business requirements, design and implement cloud-native architectures and designs that will allow requirements to be met with a minimal degree of risk to Organization and with appropriate security controls present.Identify and deliver appropriate controls based on industry standards to drive cloud and customer security solutions framework based on business risk and cloud native threatsHave a good understanding of GCP best practice/recommendation and should be able to align the same with the customer requirements to deliver best in class solution for the customer.Basic understanding of AWS or any Cloud Provider.Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
