Job Title: GC-MS Lab Analyst Location: Arvada, CO Hours/Schedule: M-F 8 AM - 5 PM Type: 6 Months Contract to Direct Hire Pay: $27-$29/hour Overview: Established Environmental Science Company located in Arvada CO is hiring a lab analyst with hands on GC-MS experience. Responsibilities: + Prepare and process environmental samples using established methods + Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot GC and GC-MS instruments + Perform full-cycle chemical analyses: sample prep, instrument setup, calibration, data collection, and reporting + Must have hands-on, end-to-end experience (outside of academics) running one or more of the following: + GC for Pesticides (8081), PCBs (8082), TPH/DRO (8015) + GC-MS for SVOCs (8270 or 625) + Maintain accurate records and ensure QA/QC compliance + Follow all EHS, GMP/GLP, and safety protocols + Support general lab tasks (e.g., aliquoting, cleaning glassware) Requirements: + Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline + Demonstrated hands-on experience preparing, running, and interpreting results from GC or GC-MS methods listed above + Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines Ref: #558-Scientific System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, CM Access, TPGS, and MOUNTAIN, LTD., are leaders in delivering workforce solutions and integrated services across North America.
