Join Our Team as a GBS Data & Analytics (D&A) Specialist!
Are you passionate about transforming data into actionable insights? Do you excel in creating dynamic dashboards that drive decision-making? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! In this Specialist role, you will play a pivotal role in developing and optimizing PowerBI dashboards, handling run and support activities, and fixing bugs. Your expertise in PowerBI development, combined with your problem-solving skills, will be crucial in managing composite datasets and building workable schemas.
What You'll Do:
Develop and Enhance Dashboards:Create and improve PowerBI dashboards to provide clear and actionable insights.Build new dashboards and enhance existing ones to meet evolving business needs.Perform data modeling and architecture tasks to ensure robust and scalable solutions.Run and Support Activities:Handle day-to-day run and support activities to ensure smooth dashboard operations.Conduct routine maintenance and support for dashboards.Troubleshoot and fix bugs to maintain dashboard reliability and accuracy.Data Management:Work with composite datasets to build efficient and workable schemas.Optimize dashboards for smooth operations and efficient use of compute resources.Utilize basic to intermediate knowledge of DAX, M, and PowerQuery for data manipulation and analysis.Agile Approach:Follow the team's Agile methodology to manage the demand backlog and prioritize tasks.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of dashboard enhancements.
What You Need to Have:
Education: College/University degree.Experience: at least 6 months’ relevant technical background in a large MNC, ideally in FMCG industryTechnical Skills:Proficiency in PowerBI development.Basic to intermediate knowledge of DAX, M, and PowerQuery.Basic data engineering skills.Recommended knowledge of SQL.Awareness of dashboard optimization best practices.Soft Skills:Effective communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and conducting progress update meetings.Strong problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges.Meticulous attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and dashboard quality.Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic environment.Team collaboration and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues.Proactive and self-motivated attitude to drive continuous improvement.
Work Schedule and Location:
Generally, Mondays to Fridays, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, on a hybrid work arrangement with a minimum of 3 days on-site.Based in 8 Rockwell, Makati Head Office.
