CSG Management Associate
You will be aligned to the Global CSG team and will work closely with the CSG management team as well as business leadership team, to build strategic initiatives throughout the year, business reporting and professional development activities. To achieve this, you will connect and collaborate with business unit leader(s) and business unit managers. Finally, you will partner with the human resources team and play a critical role in hiring analysts and associates and managing the summer internship program.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
CSG Management
Help prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting on performance metrics to divisional leadership, including revenues, profitability, backlog, market share/league table standings and headcountWork closely on the Management and control of the division’s expense baseSupport analytics surrounding Fully Loaded Headcount, Lost Business & Mandate activity and ProfitabilityWork closely with IBD business unit CFOs, IBD regional finance teams and Firmwide teams (Securities, MBD, Finance, Credit)Ad hoc analysis : (i) Obtain detailed information from senior bankers regarding client situations and projects with staffing needs. (ii) Recommend the best available team of juniors for each project, balancing team and individual needs.Professional development of junior bankers: Work closely Business Unit Leaders and Junior Banker Champions to ensure that analysts receive timely and required development opportunities while reflecting needs in client service.Coordinating strategic people activities and initiatives across business unitHiring Pipeline
Coordination with HCM professionals and CSG Management team to drive campus and junior lateral recruitingOversight of summer analyst and summer associate intern programsQualifications
2+ years in professional services organization or relevant knowledge of professional servicesExperience in a people function ideally in professional development/staffingStrong integrity, maturity and fairness in dealing with people and confidential informationExcellent interpersonal skills; strong influencing capabilitiesExcellent communication skills (oral and written); ability to listenOutstanding organizational skills and attention to detailsAbility to work under pressure and conflicting circumstancesHigh level of drive and initiativeAbility to manage matrix of relationshipsGood understanding of investment banking, capital marketsSalary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $100000-$160000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
