Overall responsibilities and duties:Participate in the development of special production processes and technologies as well as steering and releasing the definition of specification requirements for the production equipment and fixtures.Monitoring the processes design, qualification, built up and initiating of improvement measures.Responsibility for improvements regarding production equipment technology. The main missions of the role are:A Equipment and FixturesParticipate in the development of special production processes and technologies taking the market development into account and check new and existing processes, equipment, machines and technologies for their suitability and applicability as set by Hella specific constrains and legal requirementsQualification, adapt and apply of approved processes for new equipment, machines and fixturesSteering and executing the definition of specifications for process specific production equipment and maintenance processesInvolvement in the supplier selection for process specific production equipmentSupervising a set up of the process specific production equipment together with the involved partnersDetermination and documentation of the process parameters and limitsRelease and change of process parameters in accordance with the Hella network regulationsMonitoring of the specific processes in the running production and implementation of improvement measures if possible directly, otherwise initiation and leading an improvement project in alignment with further departments
Initiate, coordinate and create process specific process module FMEAs in corporation with the production technology specialists of other plantsSetup and training of the process users in accordance with their needsSupport or realization of basic investigations for new processes in cooperation with technology development and global functionsReleased DfA moderator to evaluate new product designs regarding all technologiesB ProjectingLeading of project teams for any kind of product / product family related cost improvements
