Responsibilities

 Access Control:

· Monitoring and managing entry points (gates, doors, etc.) to the community.

· Verifying credentials and identity of residents, visitors, and vendors.

· Issuing visitor passes or requiring registration for entry.

· Maintaining detailed logs of individuals and vehicles entering and exiting the premises.

Security Monitoring:

· Conducting regular patrols of the community property (on foot or in a vehicle) to deter crime and identify suspicious activity or potential hazards.

· Monitoring CCTV cameras and alarm systems.

· Reporting any unusual circumstances or security breaches to the appropriate authorities.

· Emergency Response:

· Coordinating with emergency services and providing assistance as needed.

· Resident and Visitor Relations:

· Greeting residents and visitors professionally and courteously.

· Providing directions and assistance as needed.

· Handling resident concerns and enforcing community rules and policies, such as parking regulations or noise restrictions.

Administrative Tasks:

· Maintaining detailed records and reports of incidents, patrols, and daily activities.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent is often required.

· Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or the military can be advantageous.

· Ability to pass background checks and drug testing may be required.

· Observation and Situational Awareness: The ability to notice unusual behavior, identify potential threats, and act proactively to prevent issues.

· Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with residents, visitors, and emergency responders.
