Gas Turbine Mechanical Design Engineer

As an Engineer - Gas Turbine, you will be responsible to support senior engineer for activities contributing to the design and
development of products, solutions, and systems. Also, you be supporting senior engineer on activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components which requires clear understanding of technical concepts and principles in the
own part of the function.

As an Engineer - Gas Turbine, you will be responsible for:
• Executes, with guidance from senior engineer, the analysis, design, test, or integration required to support assigned
components, assemblies for a Gas Turbine product that meet business standards and program / product requirements.
• Prepare and present technical assessment results to internal and external stakeholders.
• Document and communicate results of technical data generated in to the eDRB.
• Participate on teams assigned to address specific organizational initiatives in energy transition, Productivity improvement.
• Share engineering information and promote open dialogue.
• Prepare invention disclosures to protect the technology that provides a competitive advantage to the business.
• Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with
engineering policies and procedures
 

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Have master’s degree in mechanical engineering with 1-3 years of experience in Gas Turbine Design.
• Be familiar with design and analysis tools and systems such as: NX (Unigraphics), ANSYS Classic, ANSYS
Workbench, ANSYS Topology Optimization or similar.
• Understand the technical documentation, GD&T, its management process (e.g., Bill of Material) and Supply Chain
Processes
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, be fluent in English
