Position summary:
Support the operation, administration, and maintenance of the Transmission Integrity Management Program (TIMP), Distribution Integrity Management Program (DIMP) and the Storage Integrity Management Program (SIMP). The job position includes Pipeline Integrity field support, ongoing data integration, regulatory support for integrity related filings and state level audit support. Leads a variety of natural gas projects and provides technical support with limited supervision.
Pay Range:This posting includes the full pay range for this position. Pay is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
Level II:$84,600 - $126,900
Senior:$94,800 - $156,250

Essential Functions:
• Support the DIMP, TIMP and SIMP programs at the corporate and state levels. Use various Integrity platforms such as Gas HCA Analyst, ESRI, and Asset Suite to track, integrate and record integrity activities.
• Provide engineering services and guidance to state level Integrity Coordinators that includes HCA/MCA identification, risk modeling, in-line inspection, hydrostatic pressure testing, direct assessment, repair and remediation measures, and ongoing asset data management.
• Provides general engineering support and service to natural gas operations in the company’s multiple state natural gas business.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Active engagement and facilitation of pipeline safety activities.
• Actively seeks or leads improvements and initiatives for work processes across the department or project.
• Participate as a member of the company’s Emergency Response (ERL) system and crisis response on-call program.
• Participate in internal, state, and federal audits. Provide support and general correspondence as applicable.
• Travel as necessary to support Asset Risk activities.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record that is satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
• Maintain professional relationships with vendors and contractors.
• Maintain supportive and respectful working relationships with operations, IT support team and other business & system owners.
What Is Required:
Level II:
• Bachelor's Degree Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
• Minimum of 3 years of gas industry experience, knowledge of gas operations or maintenance and construction practices
Senior:
• Bachelor's Degree Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
• Minimum of 4 years of gas industry experience, knowledge of gas operations or maintenance and construction practices
What Is Desired:
• Working knowledge of PHMSA regulations, accepted industry practices and methods by attending pipeline and various industry group meetings such as (NACE, PHMSA/DOT, AGA, ASME, MEA, SGA, PRCI and GTI), continued education seminars, conferences and classes.
• Knowledge of company-specific policies and practices, regulatory and tariff requirements.
• Technical knowledge in the following: Cathodic Protection, assessment methods, network designs, standards, drafting, general system operations, general business and financial principles.
• Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues/problems.
• Ability to organize, schedule and prioritize departmental and individual work tasks to meet various schedules, objectives and deadlines.
• Ability to work within a team, to assist with special projects; and, to focus attention on details and completing projects.
• Ability to analyze business reporting information and recommend improvements. Sensible business systems knowledge.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to thoroughly document analytical work and workflow processes.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
