Job Description

​​​​​​Standard working hours: 9:00 to 18:00

Office location: Walking distance from Gayrettepe metro station, Istanbul

Hybrid working:

This role includes frequent factory visits. We have UK buyers visiting every two weeks, and you would regularly accompany them to factory visits. As a result, there is a natural balance between being in the office and being out for supplier meetings.

What you'll be doing:

Supporting the drive to position ASOS globally as a leading Fashion brand through garment development, trend adaptation & sustainability initiatives.Managing the critical path from end to end.Working closely with factories, garment manufacturers, and suppliers to negotiate the best prices, delivery lead times, and quality standards.Coordinating with buying and design teams to organize buying trips in collaboration with suppliers.Ensuring product quality and working with the technical team by reviewing fits, workmanship, and fabric performance, taking proactive measures to solve production issues for ontime shipment.Supporting and offering ideas for new production processes & best practices aligned with ASOS’s Commercial Strategy and Sustainability goals.Researching & presenting regular trend updates, sourcing new manufacturing techniques, trims, and embellishments as appropriate ahead of the season.Collaborating with the Sustainability and Ethical Teams to work towards the  targets and maintain full transparency of production origins.

Qualifications

About you:

Experience in garment manufacturing, sourcing, or production, preferably in a multi-product supplier or at a retailer (buying, merchandising, or product development).Strong ability to present ideas, trends, or reports effectively to stakeholders.Excellent organizational and negotiation skills with experience managing multiple suppliers.Good knowledge of Excel for data analysis and reporting.Understanding of PLM systems and production tracking would be a plus.
