Amplifon Iberica S.A.U acquired GAES in 2019 with over 700 shops spread throughout the country. The main office is in Barcelona and operates with 2000+ dedicated professionals that empower people to discover all the emotions of sound. 

 

We are currently looking for GAES Country Finance Director.

 

The ideal candidate will report directly to the General Manager of the Country and will lead a team of highly skilled professionals. This role encompasses a range of responsibilities, providing an excellent opportunity for the right individual to make a significant impact on our operations.

 

MISSION AND ACCOUNTABILITY

 

Accounting & Compliance

Set up and maintain adequate accounting processes, procedures, and related controls Assure the correct application of IFRS Standards in the country Financial accounting Fixed-asset accounting Payment transactions and cash-pooling Debt management Accounts receivable and accounts payable Cash accounting

 

Planning and Controlling

Point of reference for the General Manager and the functional leader with qualitative and quantitative financial insights to reinforce the company's business understanding Ensure the implementation of measurement systems and effective utilization in the decision process for evaluating ROI of Capex, M&A, and Marketing investments Contract management excluding employment contracts/supplier contracts

 

Treasury

Cash flow monitoring and forecasting Working capital management & optimization

 

Taxes

Assure day-by-day full compliance in direct and indirect taxes in accordance with local tax regulations. Assure accurate and timely actual and forecast tax submissions to the headquarters. Support tax optimization projects. Support in implementing and maintaining Group Transfer Pricing policy in the country and ensure proper local Transfer Pricing documentation is prepared annually. Facilitate and support Group relations with local tax firms. In case of tax audit or litigation, support the Group in managing the relationship with the local tax office For M&A projects, ensure proper Tax Due Diligence

 

Reporting & Budget

Ensure timely reporting Ensure timely production and factual correctness of the budget in line with Group instructions, in cooperation with the General Manager and the management Ensure production and correctness of the commercial accounts according to Local GAAP and the Group final accounts according to IAS/IFRS

 

The individual is experienced in leading teams and possesses exceptional business acumen. They are to accompany the company on its successful transformation path and further optimize the finance structures required for this.
