4 Year Degree Illinois State University, a NCAA Division I institution, member of the Missouri Valley Conference invites applications for the position of Graduate Assistant for Softball within the department of Athletics. This pre-professional, 12-month position includes a tuition waiver and a stipend of $2,025 per month. The successful applicant must meet the admission requirements for Illinois State's Graduate School.1. Assistant Coach – a. Help assist within individual and team training & game environments b. Assist with Recruiting: creation of yearly calendar, organization & implementation of visits, input data into ARMS, and recruit PSA’s off campus c. Assist with field set up: Training Sessions & Game Day Warm Up d. Travel with Team e. Assist with Camps and Clinics
2. Serve as the Director of Operations for softball program a. A. Serve as liaison between coaching staff and support staff, as well as the visiting team b. Coordinate all aspects of team logistics for home & away matches: develop itineraries, arrange transportation, hotels, meals, training times, video exchange, uniform colors, budget management & budget forecasting c. Manage special events d. Aid in Fundraising efforts
3. Other duties as assigned

2. Must be a degree seeking graduate student at Illinois State University in Exercise Physiology, Psychology of Sport & Physical Activity, Recreation Administration, Sport Management, or MBA.
