Job Description

Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Flint Assembly on a full-time basis.

The Role:

You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and validating production processes that ensure the quality of our product.  You will work hand in hand with all departments of the assembly plant to ensure the General Assembly is adhering to process control plans and all quality processes to be audit ready at all times.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

Implement and validate all process control plansDevelop quality processes that improve first time quality ratesReview and Implement processes that reduce Risk Priority numbers through PFMEA analysisWork with production, quality, & maintenance to improve quality metricsParticipate and champion GMS through basket weave processSupport production needs as necessaryWork hand in hand with maintenance to implement Tools and Equipment BulletinsEnsure department readiness for ISO, GMS BIQ, and PCP audits and calibrationsAssist with planning and prep for GA department TIP meetingsAssist with automation/innovation projects



Additional Job Description

Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications):

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (automotive industry at least 3 years)Ability to work off-shift and over-time as neededExperience working in manufacturing with a background in continuous improvementExperience working with and implementing quality systemsExperience in implementation of lean manufacturing conceptsStrong oral & written communication skills
