SAIC is pleased to announce several instructor positions for the Naval Waterfront Training Delivery (WFTD) Program.
_These roles are contingent upon award & funding, expected in October 2025._
**Positions may be located in: Virginia Beach, VA; San Diego, CA; Kings Bay, GA; Bangor, WA; Pearl Harbor, HI, Yokosuka, Japan; & Groton, CT. Work is performed on site at Navy facilities.** Seeking those who live/plan to live in a commutable distance to one of the locations listed- relocation assistance is not available for this program. Instruction of evening classes is occasionally required, but typically less than 20% of the year.

**Job Summary:** A challenging instructor position that equips military students with the knowledge and skills to perform operations, system configuration, system administration, network monitoring, troubleshooting, fault isolation, and restoration of Navy communication systems and networks.
**Responsibilities include:**
+ Developing, evaluating and executing training programs and activities to meet customer requirements and team learning and performance objectives
+ Preparing training materials and lab equipment for course delivery
+ Setting up and instructing both classroom and practical hands-on portions of each course
+ Performing system administration and maintenance on course technical training equipment
+ Preparing and instructing courses using standard Navy training practices and procedures
+ Collaborating with team members and customer personnel to develop, enhance, and evaluate new or existing learning objectives and course content
+ Monitoring and evaluating training programs, assessing results, and recommending and implementing enhancements
+ Developing and submitting periodic reports
**Qualifications**
**Required Clearance:**
+ DoD Secret level security clearance is required
**Required Skills/Experience:**
+ Seven (7) years (minimum) combined experience in:
+ Instructing courses
+ Providing technical support for course curriculum
+ Providing technical support (i.e., system administration or maintenance) for any shipboard network systems and/or network cybersecurity positions, such as:1. CANES2. ADNS3. ISNS4. CENTRIXS5. SubLAN6. SCI Networks7. NTCSS8. NSVT9. ISSM10. HBSS
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
**Required Education:**
+ Bachelor’s and seven (7) years of related experience, or eleven (11) years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree
**Certifications:**
+ Must be able to obtain the following certifications within 6 months of hire:
+ CompTIA Security+ Cisco CCNA or Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
+ **Formal Instructor Training (ONE of the following)** :
+ Navy’s Instructor Training Course
+ Industry Training Certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Trainer or CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer certification [CTT+]
+ Formal teaching degree or certification
**Preferred:**
+ Master Training Specialist (MTS) qualification
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
