We are seeking a seasoned Future Force Design Expert to provide high-level analysis, research, and decision support to Headquarters United States Space Force (HQ USSF) Futures Command.
Duties & Responsibilities:
In this role, you will directly support the development of the USSF future objective force by advising on force design options and identifying which elements should transition into the programmed force. You will assist in preparing senior USSF leaders for participation in Joint Staff-led forums and engagements with key stakeholders, including NASA, Combatant Commands, the Intelligence Community, and other military services.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in enterprise and architecture analysis, concept development, and the evaluation of science and technology requirements. A strong background in wargaming, modeling and simulation, and scenario-based assessments is essential to inform and refine objective force development. This position requires a strategic mindset, deep technical insight, and the ability to translate complex analytical findings into actionable guidance for senior leadership shaping the future of space operations.
Requirements:
20+ years experience in related environments including all relevant qualifications
Bachelors degree in STEM or military-related programs
Active TS/SCI clearance
Full time at Peterson SFB, Colorado Springs, CO
Basic Compensation:
$220-270k
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
