You will exhibit strong proficiency in interpreting and following Product Manufacturing Instructions (PMIs), Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and production schedules to effectively execute daily tasks, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to quality standardsFurther you will support and participate in current and new safety initiatives/policies as business needs ariseYou will follow step by step instructions detailed by senior operators in turnover reports, written job instructions, or verbal instructions and balance multiple tasks simultaneouslyIn addition, you must demonstrate strong batch chemistry math skills, including the ability to accurately perform calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and weight percentage conversions across various units of measureYou will work in a challenging environment that is typically temperature controlled in areas required but often can be hot, dirty, dusty, and humid, while wearing a respirator, flame-resistant (FR) clothing, and appropriate safety gear, in a setting that can be noisy and demands strict adherence to safety and quality protocolsYou will be responsible for operating and maintaining large-scale powder production equipment, including atomizers, spray dryers, power cabinets, blenders, screeners, forklifts, scissor lifts, cranes, and pallet jacks, while working with high-pressure gases, induction-powered furnaces, and high-vacuum equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation in compliance with company procedures and safety standardsAlso, you will complete minor to moderate machine adjustments and maintenance repairs as needed by utilizing your mechanical skillset
