NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking a Funeral Arranger to join our team at Greenwood Memorial Park and Mortuary. Responsibilities

Arrange and assist with funeral and memorial services for families Carries out funeral or cremation arrangements from intake to final disposition Ensures that all federal, state, and local regulations related to the funeral industry are followed Maintain reverence and respect for the deceased at all times Maintains respect for the deceased at all times while on the phone with families Responsible for handling all aspects of the paperwork associated with the Funeral Arrangement for each family. Facilitate the filing of the Death Certificates Maintains the files, logs, and folders in a clear, concise, and accurate manner Answers the phone using the NSMG principles of ECHO Ensures that all forms of communications are used in keeping arrangers, families, and transfer services informed of the progress of all the cases Maintain a high level of personal organization as the position requires multi-tasking within an ever-changing environment Ability to handle phone calls from our Answering Service “After Hours” on a scheduled basis Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications

A caring heart and a passion for helping the community in need 2+ years of funeral industry experience preferred, but not required. Bilingual is a plus Professional communication skills Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a busy environment Ability to handle sensitive situations in a professional manner

Compensation

$21.00 - $24.00/hr depending on experience. Monthly Incentives are available
