About the Role

Are you a compliance professional looking for a new challenge? Join our team at CSC as a Compliance Manager for Funds Compliance. In this pivotal role, you will act as the Compliance Officer (CO), Money Laundering Compliance Officer (MLCO) and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for our Jersey-regulated clients and entities, under the Proceeds of Crime (Jersey) Law.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure our clients meet AML/CFT/CPF regulations and other prudential standards. Board Support: Coordinate and present compliance board reports at client board meetings.  Assist the board of CSC Fund (Services) Jersey Limited with management information. Policy Implementation: Maintain and implement compliance policies and procedures; providing department training where required. Compliance Monitoring: Oversee the client compliance monitoring program, ensuring it adapts to regulatory changes and manage updates to the associated risk framework documents. Expert Guidance: Provide expert advice on compliance matters to stakeholders and liaise with the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC). Project Leadership: Manage compliance projects, ensuring they are delivered successfully and align with business objectives. Promote compliance objectives across the organisation. Client and Team Support: Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams, supporting their development and ensuring they understand compliance requirements. Assist in maintaining risk assessments and preparing periodic compliance reports. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure our internal systems, controls, and client policies are adapted accordingly. Drive personal development using all available resources to achieve success. Reporting and Record-Keeping: Accurately record all time spent on client matters to ensure proper invoicing. As the MLRO, manage Suspicious Activity Reports and liaise with the Jersey Financial Crimes Unit (JFCU) as needed. Data Collection: Assist in collating data for the National Risk Assessment and other JFSC data collection exercises.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Legal right to work: You hold the legal right to work in Jersey Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to manage people and build strong relationships. Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of fiduciary products and the Jersey regulatory environment. Communication: Effective communicator with experience in a compliance role, comfortable dealing with senior executives and board members. Time Management: Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure. Qualifications: Relevant compliance-related qualification and experience in a key person role as defined by the JFSC. Commitment: Driven to achieve excellence for yourself and your clients.
