Fund Administrator I - Financial Reporting
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Fund Administrator I specializing in financial reporting to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will prepare and review financial statements, respond to advisor inquiries, and ensure the accuracy of financial data. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects while adhering to deadlines. Responsibilities: • Prepare and review comprehensive financial statements, including earnings, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. • Compile tailored shareholder reports featuring performance metrics and other financial data. • Address inquiries from advisors regarding financial performance and related matters. • Develop and maintain documentation to support annual audit processes. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and adapt to changing priorities. • Coordinate and follow through on long-term projects with precision and efficiency. • Execute additional tasks as assigned to support department goals. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent work experience. • Minimum of one to three years of experience in fund accounting, financial reporting, or a related field. • Proficiency in financial systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. • Strong knowledge of general ledger, journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. • Ability to perform bank reconciliations and manage month-end close processes. • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Flexibility to adjust work hours to meet client needs.
