About the Role

Our Functional Owner in the Telematics domain will technically lead and coordinate all efforts to monitor and safeguard the required features inside the corresponding domain within Telematics projects. She/he will be a main contact for the SW-PL and Functional Domain Leaders, and for this, she/he will need to have a good understanding of the work packages developed in her/his responsibility area and their status.

What You Will Do

Technical responsibility within Harman Telematics projectsPlanning, controlling and monitoring of all tasks related to the assigned domain and tracking of related work product integration (SW modules) into the overall projectLeading technically, the team members assigned to the domainAnalysis and clarification of requirements, interfaces, architecture, timeline, etc., related to the assigned domain with the customer twin, the impacted Harman domains and suppliers on a technical level (e.g. workshops, regular communication meetings)Support of the project leads in regards to evaluation of requirements and change requestsStatus reporting towards the SW project lead and managementProblem/issue ticket management related to the assigned domainSupport for proof-of-concept activities if neededEnsuring compliance with Harman's internal and SW engineering processes required by the customer (e.g. Automotive SPICE) and methods (e.g. SAFe)

What You Need to Be Successful

University degree (MSc/BSc)Track record with a minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded systems, preferably in automotiveMinimum of 8 years relevant experience in SW development (OOA, OOD, OOP)Very good knowledge in automotive System-/SW Engineering, Analytical skills and good system understanding in the embedded SW areaExperience in technical coordination of engineering teamsExcellent communication and technical presentation skillsExperience in working with (external) customers/OEMsSelf-driven, autonomous and systematic way of working and able to help others achieve their goalsGood English language skills

Bonus Points if You Have

Knowledge of Infotainment/Telematics systems and experience in working on Automotive projectsGood presentation skillsGood understanding and working skills in C/C++, Linux, SW architecture (UML), MS Office tools, JIRA, Confluence, ALM, DOORSKnowledge of SW development processes (e.g. V-Model, ASPICE, etc.)Knowledge of agile methods and frameworks (SAFe) is an advantage
