Job Description
The Full Stack Data Engineer will design, develop, and deliver reliable, scalable data management (acquisition, integration, transformation) solutions using DevOps methodologies on the DA&I Microsoft Azure platform. Design and enable DA&I data solutions and services throughout the company. This role supports and enables DA&I's competitive advantage to delivering business outcomes via actionable analytics and decision intelligence. These solutions help the businesses recognize value and shape how we deliver analytics solutions going forward.
The Platform Engineer is an accomplished engineer who helps to estimate & plan work, lead development teams, accept stories into delivery increments and complete tasks to deliver the work. Is proficient in Source Data Analysis, profiling, integration, data modelling and especially data warehousing. Has expertise in data engineering technologies such as Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Databricks, SQL DB, data management/integration tools or equivalent. The role is based in Prague and is reporting to Manager Platform Architecture & Engineering, DA&I.
Your Responsibilities:Designs, codes, and tests new data management solutions, including supporting data applications and interfaces.Architects data structures to provision and enable “Data as a Service”.Works with other engineers and architects to plan and keep the architecture currentMentors & leads DA&I engineers through the design & development lifecycle.Proactively monitors industry trends and identifies opportunities to implement new technologiesSupports cross-functional development activity in various DA&I and Connected Enterprise related projects, for internal and external customersDesigns, develops, and tests infrastructure components in Cloud and Edge-level environmentsAssists with the DevOps pipeline deployment modelAssists in the support and enhancement of the environmentWrites high-quality code compliant with regulationsCollaborates with business systems analysts and product owners to define requirementsConsults with business units on architectural & development best practicesEngages with enterprise architecture on enterprise data architectureThe Essentials - You Will Have:4+ years of experience with Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Databricks, Pythion, SQL, or other domain-specific programming languages.
