Today’s world requires a new approach to the delivery of legal services. Now more than ever, legal departments are having to address the challenge of dealing with increasing complexity and demand with the same or fewer resources. Deloitte’s Legal Business Services assists multinational organizations in transforming their contracting functions and processes by leveraging enabling technologies, process reengineering and alternative delivery models. The team also assists corporate legal department clients with responding to regulatory and other trigger events compelling organizations to analyze their contract portfolios.

Work you’ll do
As a professional in Deloitte’s Legal Business Services team, you will be a part of a team that provides an integrated approach to technology implementations that help legal departments maximize the strategic value to the organization. You will embrace opportunities to drive efficiencies and continuous improvement into your engagement delivery.
· Supporting ongoing contract lifecycle activities, managed services, and consulting
· Leveraging enabling technologies
· Deliver in accordance with both quantitative (i.e. turnaround times) and qualitative (i.e. accuracy) key performance indicators
The successful legal business associate will be able to:
· Prioritize tasks
· Work independently and manage multiple assignments in a team environment in-person and virtually
· Apply strong judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills
· Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications
Required
· Bachelor or Masters degree in business, economics, law, technology, operations, finance or related field
· Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.0)
· Demonstrated interest in and aptitude for technology
· (CPA eligible candidates) Must meet minimal educational requirements for CPA licensure (which may differ from the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam) in the state of your assigned office location prior to beginning full-time employment
· Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
· Ability to perform job responsibilities within in a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 – 3 days per week
· Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.
· The start date for this position will be in Summer 2026, Winter 2027
Preferred
· Relevant technology work experience (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs)
· Strong analytical and reporting skills

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $56880 to $104520.
