Full Time 3rd Shift Security Officer 

 

Location: Rochester, NH

Shift: Monday - Friday, 3rd shift 11pm-7am

Rate: $18.20 / hour

 

Position Summary: 

 

We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Overnight Security Officer to join our team in Rochester, NH. This full-time position involves patrolling the premises, monitoring surveillance equipment, and ensuring the safety and security of the property and personnel during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities: 

Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including interior and exterior areasMonitor security cameras and alarm systemsControl access to buildings and grounds; verify identification of visitorsRespond promptly to incidents, alarms, or emergenciesWrite accurate and detailed incident and daily activity reportsEnsure compliance with company policies and safety protocolsMaintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized activityCollaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED requiredMust be able to obtain a NH State Guard Card (licensing for security in the State)Prior security or law enforcement experience preferredValid driver’s license and reliable transportationMust be at least 18 years oldStrong attention to detail and observational skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to remain calm and professional under pressure

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for long periodsCapable of patrolling on foot, including stairs
