**Job Title:** Security Officer **Location:** Monticello, NY **Pay Rate:** $19.50 per hour **Job Description:** We are seeking an experienced Security Officer to provide safety and support for a retail environment in Monticello. The role requires a strong security background, reliability, and the ability to remain standing for long periods of time. **Schedule:** + Sundays: 11:30AM – 11:30PM + Mondays: 11:30AM – 11:30PM + Tuesdays: 11:30AM – 11:30PM + Wednesdays: 11:30AM – 5:30PM **Key Responsibilities:** + Maintain a visible security presence throughout the site + Monitor entrances, exits, and floor activity to deter theft and disturbances + Respond to incidents promptly and appropriately + Support staff and customers in a professional and respectful manner + Prepare detailed incident reports **Requirements:** + Prior security experience required + Must live locally in the Monticello area + Ability to stand for the full duration of assigned shifts + Strong communication and observation skills + Professional demeanor and reliability With over 80 years of protecting the things that matter, we’ve seen more than most.
