UPMC Presbyterian Emergency Department is hiring a Full-Time Patient Care Technician!

Schedule:

Full-Time: 3 12-hour shifts per week

The Nursing Support position requires the availability to work rotating, 12-hour shifts. Shifts are scheduled on a rotating basis meaning you are required to work daylight, evening, overnights, weekends, and holidays and having full open rotating availability 7 days a week.

Your Role Assist with daily patient care (bathing, feeding, toileting, ambulating, etc.). Perform vital signs checks, blood glucose monitoring, specimen collection, EKGs, and more. Work rotating shifts (day, evening, overnight, weekends, and holidays). Career Ladder & Qualifications Patient Care Technician: High school diploma + 1 year of experience OR enrollment in a PT/OT/PA program OR a Bachelor’s in health sciences. Senior/Specialist PCT: 2 years of experience OR 1 year + PT/OT/PA program OR 1 year + Bachelor’s in health sciences. Lead PCT: 3 years of experience + advanced patient care tasks.
