Job Description

Position pays $18 / hour.  Shift time frame is 2p - 10p days of the week may vary.

Ready to be a superhero in scrubs? As a Personal Care Partner II QMAP, you'll be the resident rockstar, ensuring our lovely residents are living their best lives! You'll be the maestro of medications, conducting a symphony of care that aligns perfectly with our company's mission and values. Your superpower? Anticipating needs before they arise and reporting them faster than a speeding bullet!

Your Exciting Daily Adventures

Be the resident's personal fairy godparent, granting wishes for personal care needs and ADLs with a wave of your magic wand (or, you know, your helping hands)!Transform into a grooming guru, helping residents look and feel fabulous with assistance in bathing, dressing, and meals. Remember, every resident is a VIP on your red carpet of care!Channel your inner Sherlock Holmes to anticipate and identify resident care needs. No detail is too small for your magnifying glass of attentiveness!Become a master of multitasking, juggling resident care, family communication, and teamwork like a circus performer (minus the unicycle, unless you're into that).Be the guardian angel of safety, watching over residents with the eyes of a hawk and the heart of a teddy bear.Transform into the Medication Maestro, orchestrating a perfect symphony of "right resident, right dose, right time, right medication, right route." It's like conducting an orchestra, but with pills instead of instruments!Be the superhero of supply restocking, ensuring medication carts are always ready for action. Cape optional, but highly recommended for dramatic effect.Embrace your inner handyman (or handywoman) by completing work orders. Think of it as playing a real-life version of "Fix-It Felix"!Join the monthly gathering of care superheroes (aka staff meetings) to share your wisdom and contribute to the greater good of resident and departmental needs.Be ready for any plot twist that comes your way – other duties may be assigned, keeping you on your toes and adding spice to your care-giving adventure!

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications & Experience

Per the state of operation requirements, Medication certification; QMAP-A/L, Med Tech, Med Aide, Nurse DelegationMust be able to read, write and speak the English language.High school or Equivalent (GED)One (1) year experience in some level of elder care preferredProficient computer skills preferredStrong self-management and organization skillsStrong multi-tasking abilities with the ability to handle competing deadlines, flexible and adaptable (Open to change).Ability to effectively handle difficult and sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.Constant standing, walking, and grasping. Frequent stooping and reaching above shoulder heights, occasional sitting, crawling, kneeling, and squatting.May have exposure to blood borne pathogens, body excretions and communicable diseases possible.Possible exposure to household chemicals.Sits, stands, bends, and moves intermittently during working hours.May be subject to frequent interruptions.Interacts with clients, family members and visitors frequently.
