Full Stack Software Engineer - Associate

We're seeking someone to join our Data Masking team as a full-stack Software Engineer in Cyber to design, develop and implement innovative software solutions and supporting infrastructure and integrate with partner systems in order to deliver complex data protection solutions to meet business needs.

In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Software Engineering III position at Associate level, which is part of the job family responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support business needs.

What you'll do in the role:

Lead the design and development of complex software systems and applications.

Architect solutions that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define project roadmap and technical strategy.

Drive technical excellence through code reviews, design discussions, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure software quality and reliability.

Implement and advocate for best practices in software engineering and design patterns.

Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, providing technical guidance and direction.

Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and tools to drive innovation and continuous improvement. What you'll bring to the role: 

Ability to process information, translate into plans and present summaries to stakeholders.

Experienced understanding of business line and discipline.

What’ll do in the role 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

4+ years of extensive experience in design, development and implementation of complex software system and applications utilizing Java & Angular.

Hands-on development experience in writing REST APIs with sprint boot.

Excellent problem solver and must have deep understanding of data structures and algorithms.

Strong proficiency in preparing underlying infrastructure and integrating with partner systems.

Strong working experience in relational databases such as MySQL/DB2 etc.

Experience in automated testing using junit and Mockito.

Expertise in performance optimization and scalability.

Familiar with version control systems like git/github.

Familiar with build tools like gradle and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Docker etc.

Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with cross functional teams. 

Sense of ownership and self-motivation to deliver quality products to deadines without supervision.

Good to have

Python and NoSQL experience

Experience with ETL platforms (eg Talend, Informatica etc)
