WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

Participating in architectural design sessions with the team’s engineersDeveloping and document REST API contract specifications in ConfluenceDeveloping REST APIs in Python utilizing the FastAPI frameworkBuild and optimize data pipelines and services using Databricks, PostgreSQL, and SnowflakeDesign, develop, and deploy scalable web applications using React, HTML, Python and SQLDevelop and maintain cloud-native applications on AWSUtilizing infrastructure as code practices to provision cloud resourcesBuilding and maintaining CI/CD build pipelines in JenkinsParticipating in engineer code reviews via GitHubAssisting in the story breakdown to convert architecture designs into executable tasksDeveloping data integrations using Airflow, Snowflake and Apache Kafka​

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You’ll be part of a cross-functional team of engineers, business stakeholders, and product owners. You’ll also collaborate with stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, and Enterprise Platforms to deliver solutions that are secure, scalable, and aligned with Nike’s digital strategy.

WHAT YOU BRING

Experience developing cloud-native REST APIs and backend services in Python, deployed on AWS cloud infrastructure, with proficiency in message-based solutions such as SQS, Kafka, and RabbitMQSkilled in building front-end applications using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, including developing responsive views with HTML and CSSHands-on experience with Databricks and Snowflake, along with strong SQL skills and familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MSSQLSkilled in containerization using Docker and/or Kubernetes, and implementing infrastructure as code with CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS SAMExperience in an Agile or Scrum development environment, including a demonstrated ability to deliver software applications in this environmentProven ability to deliver highly integrated software applications with complex dependencies
