**Full Stack Java Developer** **Responsibilities** + Lead the development and implementation of new product features using DevOps TeamSite Java JavaScript CSS HTML and J2EE. + Oversee the entire software development lifecycle ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output. + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features that align with business goals. + Ensure the scalability and reliability of applications by implementing best practices in coding and DevOps. + Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and performance standards. + Develop and maintain technical documentation to support ongoing development and future enhancements. + Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines. + Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline development processes. + Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development practices. + Engage in regular communication with stakeholders to provide project updates and gather requirements. + Optimize application performance and ensure security compliance throughout the development process. + Drive innovation by proposing and implementing new tools and technologies that enhance productivity and product quality. **Qualifications** + Must have a minimum of 6 years of experience in DevOps TeamSite Java JavaScript CSS HTML and J2EE. + Should have a strong background in New Product Development-Tech. + Nice to have experience in hybrid work models and day shift operations. + Must possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. + Should have a proven track record of leading development projects and delivering high-quality software. + Must be proficient in implementing CI/CD pipelines and other DevOps practices. + Should have strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. + Must be proactive detail-oriented and capable of working independently. + Should have experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers. + Must be committed to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends. + Should have a strong understanding of application performance optimization and security compliance. + Must be able to create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation. **The annual salary for this position is between $65 - 110k depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.** This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
