Job Description:

We are seeking a versatile Full Stack Engineer to join our team and contribute to both frontend and backend development of our platform. In this role, you will work across the entire technology stack, collaborating with UI/UX designers, architects, and other developers to build cohesive end-to-end features and functionality.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain both frontend and backend components of our applicationsBuild responsive user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend technologiesImplement server-side logic and APIs using Python and related frameworksEnsure seamless integration between frontend and backend systemsWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested code across the stackFollow established coding standards, architectural patterns, and security practicesCreate and maintain documentation for both frontend components and backend servicesImplement comprehensive testing strategies across the full technology stackCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new featuresTroubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the application stack

Required Qualifications

4+ years of experience in full stack developmentFrontend skills:Proficiency in React and TypeScriptExperience with modern frontend build tools and workflowsUnderstanding of responsive design principlesBackend skills:Proficiency in Python and related frameworksExperience with RESTful API design and implementationKnowledge of database design and query optimizationExperience with GraphQL on both client and server sidesExperience with version control systems (Git)Understanding of web security best practicesExperience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure)Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detailExcellent communication skills and ability to work across teamsBachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Material UI or similar component librariesExperience with state management using Redux or similar librariesFamiliarity with CSS-in-JS approaches (Styled Components, etc.)Experience with API documentation toolsUnderstanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration conceptsInterest in AI technologies and agentic workflowsExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesFamiliarity with microservices architectureExperience building AI agents a plus

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $105,100 - $195,200.
