**Job Description:**
**Responsibilities**
+ Develop and maintain both frontend and backend components of our applications
+ Build responsive user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend technologies
+ Implement server-side logic and APIs using Python and related frameworks
+ Ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems
+ Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code across the stack
+ Follow established coding standards, architectural patterns, and security practices
+ Create and maintain documentation for both frontend components and backend services
+ Implement comprehensive testing strategies across the full technology stack
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the application stack
**Required Qualifications**
+ 4+ years of experience in full stack development
+ Frontend skills:
+ Proficiency in React and TypeScript
+ Experience with modern frontend build tools and workflows
+ Understanding of responsive design principles
+ Backend skills:
+ Proficiency in Python and related frameworks
+ Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
+ Knowledge of database design and query optimization
+ Experience with GraphQL on both client and server sides
+ Experience with version control systems (Git)
+ Understanding of web security best practices
+ Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
+ Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
+ Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams
+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Knowledge of Material UI or similar component libraries
+ Experience with state management using Redux or similar libraries
+ Familiarity with CSS-in-JS approaches (Styled Components, etc.)
+ Experience with API documentation tools
+ Understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration concepts
+ Interest in AI technologies and agentic workflows
+ Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
+ Familiarity with microservices architecture
+ Experience building AI agents a plus
Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $60,400 - $112,100.
Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
