We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to architect and build a complete web application within a 12-week timeline. You'll work with existing BigQuery data infrastructure to create a scalable platform that serves competitive stats and leaderboards to thousands of players.
We are looking for someone who can work independently and bring their own ideas to the project.
Key Responsibilities
Backend Development
Design and implement REST APIs for player stats and leaderboardsBuild automated data aggregation pipelines from BigQuery to application databaseImplement efficient caching strategies for real-time leaderboard updatesDesign database schema optimized for leaderboard queriesSet up monitoring, logging, and error handling for production deploymentFrontend Development
Build responsive web application using modern JavaScript frameworkImplement real-time leaderboard updates and player stat visualizationsCreate seamless social sharing functionality for multiple platformsDevelop mobile-responsive design that works across all devicesOptimize performance for fast loading and smooth user experienceIntegrate with backend APIsRequired Qualifications
Technical Skills
5+ years full stack development experience with proven track record of shipping productsExpert proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular)Strong backend experience with Node.js, Python, or similarExperience with SQL databases and query optimizationFamiliarity with BigQuery or similar data warehouse technologiesExperience with RESTful API design and implementationProject Experience

PAY RANGES
* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) * $96,400 - $133,900 CADIn British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
