We’re looking for a hands-on Engineer to join our global team and play a key role in developing and implementing this exciting new greenfield technology platform. Provide hands-on technical expertise to distributed technology teams building the Digital Automation Platform.Envision and develop core components that enable low-code front-end and back-end development, supporting seamless integrations and enhancing customer experiences across channels.Collaborate with Marsh McLennan teams on new and existing product development opportunities.Continuously learn about new technologies and share insights to keep the team up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.Help define and ensure adherence to technology standards, architecture, and engineering best practices across platform and implementation teams.Work with senior business and technology leaders worldwide to translate business needs into technical solutions that deliver real value.What you need to have:
Hands-on technical expertise with full stack JavaScript/TypeScript.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant experience.3+ years of commercial experience with a proven track record of delivering global, highly scalable, customer-facing digital products and capabilities.Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).Experience with UI architecture and state management patterns.Strong JavaScript skills, including knowledge of different data structures.Proficiency in TypeScript, SCSS, and UI frameworks such as Angular and/or React.Proficiency with Node-based REST API patterns like Express.js and NestJS.Deep understanding of the DOM, DOM events, NPM, semantic versioning, and package distribution.Proficiency with automated testing strategies for applications/components using common testing libraries/frameworks.Understanding of security and identity management processes, best practices, and technologies (experience with Okta is a plus).What makes you stand out?
