We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our fast-paced Customer Data Platform team, part of SAP’s Business Data Cloud. In this role, you'll work across the full technology stack, contributing to meaningful features that touch millions of users. From concept to deployment, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality software in a collaborative, agile environment.

What You’ll Do 

 

Develop Across the Stack: Design, develop, test, and deploy features on both frontend (JavaScript, UI5, React) and backend (Java, Node.js, Python).

Deliver High-Quality Code: Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and take part in code reviews to ensure consistent engineering excellence across the team.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to turn user needs into real solutions.

Be an Agile Team Player: Actively participate in sprints, stand-ups, planning, and retrospectives to help your team stay focused and improve continuously.

Keep Growing: Stay curious and open to learning new technologies, frameworks, and patterns as our roadmap evolves.

What We're Looking For 

 

Hands-On Experience: A solid background in software development, with experience in both frontend and backend technologies.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in a backend language such as Java, Node.js, or Python, along with strong JavaScript (ES6+) and experience with a frontend framework (e.g., React, UI5).

Problem-Solving Ability: You can independently handle feature development and debug technical issues in a pragmatic, solution-oriented way.

Team Mindset: A strong communicator who enjoys collaborating and believes in the power of teamwork.

English proficiency: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Bonus Points (Nice to Have) 

 

DevOps Familiarity: Experience with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting with DSL.

Cloud Experience: Prior work deploying solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Database Knowledge: Comfortable working with both SQL and NoSQL technologies.

Flexibility: Ability to adapt in dynamic environments and quickly ramp up on new tools and technologies.
