What is the opportunity?
We are looking for a smart and talented developer with a passion for building intelligent, conversational systems and full-stack expertise to bring those systems to life across web and mobile platforms. You will be developing and creating innovative technology solutions powering growth and improving client experience. Design, build and maintain end-to-end Conversational AI solutions using frameworks like Rasa, Google Dialogflow, LivePerson, Botium or an in-house Bot framework.
Collaborate with different teams, architects, and product owners to create intuitive virtual assistant flows and conversational experiences.
Develop meaningful analytic conclusions and recommend innovative solutions.Develop backend services (APIs, NLP Pipelines, data pre-processing) using Python/Node.js
Deploy, monitor and maintain conversational systems in production environment with high reliability and scalability.
Manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless delivery and deployment to staging and production. Integrate bots with different channels such as mobile/web authenticated/unauthenticated.
Experience working with databases and manage cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP). Monitor and optimize AI-based virtual assistant performance using analytics and feedback loops.
Ensure scalability, security and performance of the overall virtual assistant/chatbot. Providing guidance to product owners as needed. Follow up of external developments and potential integration within RBC environment. Own development environments - build and maintain
May determine best mix of development, interfacing applications, third party vendor solutions to meet business requirements and project objectives.
Research and stay abreast of best practices in Conversational AI development. Build Future Capability: express a vision for change based on the awareness of business challenges and by bringing innovative approach and/or solutions to accelerate the delivery
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
3+ years of experience building conversational AI systems (chatbots/virtual assistants/voicebots).
4+ years of experience of full-stack development experience
Hands-on experience deploying applications to production (on AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes).
Working experience with one of the following NLU platforms (Google Dialogflow, Rasa, MS, Amazon Lex, LivePerson) or similar platforms.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of end-to-end solutions. Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript. Deep understanding of NLP concepts and chatbot architectures
Demonstrated strong team leadership and ability in written and oral communication skills, along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.
Working experience with REST API, Json, Postman, or Curl. Experience in Windows Communication Foundation (WCF). Version Control(Git)
Working experience with code scanning tools like Snyk, Aqua etc. DevOps tools like Jenkins, UCD, Github Actions, Helios
Experience with database engines such as SQL Server, programming experience in writing procedure, views, functions.
Nice-to-have
Experience integrating LLMs (GPT, OpenAI) into conversational flows
Knowledge on French for bilingual conversational development.
Knowledge of voice assistants and speech-to-text systems.
Experience with conversational design best practices
Experience utilizing NLP to mine unstructured data
Experience training and deploying ML models using Scikit Learn, SpaCy, Tensorflow or Pytorch
Production incident handling and observability best practices.
