Description Robert Half is seeking a Full-Charge Bookkeeper (FCBK) for a client in Clearwater, FL. This is a part-time, temporary opportunity starting as soon as possible to help bridge a gap within the client’s team. Responsibilities: + Manage all aspects of bookkeeping for a law firm, including accounts payable, payroll, and time entry review. + Handle multiple entities and intercompany transactions. + Balance cash and escrow accounts daily. + Perform reconciliations and maintain the general ledger. + Take accurate and detailed notes for internal software use. Software: + Perfect Practice (training will be provided, though it is a more complex system to learn). Top Skills/Experience Needed: + Proficiency in Excel (formulas, data entry, highlighting—no pivots required). + Strong bookkeeping fundamentals. + Excellent organizational skills. Schedule: + Part-time, most likely 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM, Monday–Friday. + Approx. 4 hours per day. Requirements • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper, preferably in a law firm or similar environment. • Strong proficiency in Excel, including formulas and data entry. • Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices. • Familiarity with handling intercompany transactions and escrow accounts. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Ability to learn and navigate complex software systems. • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
