Description We are looking for a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our client's team in Columbia, South Carolina. In this role, you will manage a wide range of accounting processes and ensure the accuracy of financial records. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and expertise in QuickBooks. Responsibilities: • Handle all aspects of full charge bookkeeping, including maintaining complete and accurate financial records. • Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions promptly and accurately. • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity. • Utilize QuickBooks to manage financial reporting and accounting tasks. • Prepare and review financial statements and reports for management. • Monitor and resolve discrepancies in account balances and transactions. • Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies. • Assist in preparing for audits by organizing relevant financial documentation. • Maintain a secure and organized filing system for financial records. Requirements • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role. • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software. • Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. • Experience in performing bank reconciliations with high accuracy. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies in financial data. • Strong communication skills for collaborating with teams and stakeholders. • Knowledge of standard accounting principles and practices.
