Full Charge Bookkeeper
Description We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper for a temp-to-hire opportunity located in Chandler, AZ. This role involves managing all aspects of the company’s accounting procedures, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and payroll processing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in full-cycle bookkeeping and be proficient in QuickBooks OR Sage. This position provides an excellent opportunity to grow within a dynamic organization and transition into a permanent position. Key Responsibilities: + Manage all bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations. + Oversee and maintain the general ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. + Process payroll, including tax payments and compliance reporting. + Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets. + Handle budgeting procedures, cash flow forecasting, and other financial planning tasks as needed. + Ensure accurate and timely filing of state, local, and federal tax documentation. + Reconcile discrepancies in financial reports and resolve related issues with vendors or internal teams. + Provide support during audits, tax filings, and annual reporting processes. + Proactively assess existing accounting procedures and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency. Requirements Qualifications: + Experience: Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role, with exposure to full-cycle accounting. + Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks OR Sage accounting software. + Solid understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). + Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard office tools. + Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience working in industries such as manufacturing, construction, healthcare, or professional services. + Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Additional Requirements: + Must be able to pass a background check prior to employment. + This is a temp-to-hire position, offering potential for permanent employment based on performance.
