Full Charge Bookkeeper
Description We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our dynamic manufacturing and distribution team in High Point, North Carolina. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong background in accounting and payroll management. Responsibilities: • Maintain and oversee the general ledger, including posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and managing the month-end close process. • Prepare detailed financial statements, including profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. • Handle all aspects of payroll processing and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll tax regulations. • Manage accounts payable operations, including invoice entry, vendor payments, and account reconciliations. • Oversee accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and customer account reconciliations. • Provide support for budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial analysis to aid decision-making. • Collaborate with external accountants to facilitate year-end reviews and ensure accurate tax filings. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping, preferably within the manufacturing or distribution industries. • Proficiency in QuickBooks and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. (pivot tables, lookups, formulas) • Comprehensive understanding of payroll processing and payroll tax reporting. • Strong ability to prepare and analyze financial statements and reports. • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all financial tasks. • Proven ability to prioritize workloads, meet deadlines, and work independently. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams and external stakeholders.
