Description We are looking for a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper in Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to manage bookkeeping and accounting operations for small businesses. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in financial management, inventory tracking, and general ledger accounting. Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including books and general ledgers. • Prepare detailed financial statements and perform bank reconciliations. • Create and post journal entries while ensuring accuracy in data entry from source documents. • Process payroll transactions and calculate accruals for accounts payable and receivable. • Manage vendor accounts, prepare purchase and sales orders, and handle bill payments and deposits. • Oversee month-end and year-end accounting procedures, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliations. • Provide necessary data to support tax filings, including Form 1099-MISC preparation. • Build and sustain strong client relationships through clear and frequent communication. • Collaborate effectively within a team to meet organizational goals. Requirements • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise and strong familiarity with accounting principles. • At least 3 years of experience in full-charge bookkeeping, preferably handling multiple clients. • Skilled in using Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting. • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines consistently. • Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively. • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all financial matters. • Associate’s degree or higher in accounting or a related field preferred; candidates working toward a degree will also be considered. • All candidates are required to undergo a pre-employment screening process.
