Full Charge Bookkeeper
Description We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Full-Charge Bookkeeper for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Scottsdale, Arizona. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting expertise, the ability to manage multiple clients, and proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop. This role is perfect for a self-motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a passion for providing exceptional accounting services to clients. Key Responsibilities: + Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), journal entries, and bank reconciliations. + Prepare and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards. + Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. + Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. + Reconcile and maintain general ledger accounts for clients. + Support tax preparation by organizing and maintaining accurate financial documentation for each client. + Communicate regularly with clients to address questions, request additional information, and provide reports. + Collaborate with management and external accountants as needed to assist with audits or other financial tasks. Requirements Requirements: + Minimum of 3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience, preferably in a multi-client environment. + Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop is required. + Strong understanding of accounting principles, including general ledger, reconciliations, and payroll. + High attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills. + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. + Ability to manage competing deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience working in a public accounting firm or managing books for multiple clients. + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. + Familiarity with tax preparation processes and financial reporting.
