Full Charge Bookkeeper
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team at a Holding Company in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. In this long-term contract position, you will play a critical role in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reconciliations, and maintaining the integrity of our accounting processes. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is adept at using advanced accounting software. Responsibilities: • Perform detailed reconciliations, including bank accounts, credit card transactions, and daily financial activities. • Manage accounts payable processes, including verifying invoices and ensuring timely payments. • Prepare and post month-end journal entries to maintain accurate financial records. • Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with financial standards. • Utilize Sage Intacct and Excel for exporting data to the general ledger and preparing financial reports. • Maintain the general ledger by accurately recording transactions and reconciling accounts. • Collaborate with staff accountants to ensure smooth transitions and provide guidance as needed. • Assist in preparing annual budgets and cash flow analyses to support strategic financial planning. • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations. • Support the team with other bookkeeping and accounting tasks as required. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles. • Proficiency in Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel, with experience in computerized accounting systems. • Strong knowledge of general ledger management and financial reconciliation processes. • Ability to perform variance analysis and prepare accurate financial reports. • Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Knowledge of budgeting, cash flow analysis, and expense reconciliation.
