Description
Our client is seeking a dedicated Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Bedminster, New Jersey. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in managing all aspects of bookkeeping operations efficiently and with precision. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in QuickBooks and other accounting tools to ensure the seamless execution of financial processes. This role is fully onsite.
Full Charge Bookkeeper Responsibilities:
• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping responsibilities, including maintaining accurate financial records and reconciling accounts.
• Utilize QuickBooks to process transactions, generate reports, and ensure data integrity.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Perform bank reconciliations to identify discrepancies and maintain accurate balances.
• Handle financial reporting tasks, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
• Collaborate with team members to analyze financial data and support informed decision-making.
• Maintain organized records and documentation to facilitate audits and reviews.
• Address any discrepancies or issues in financial data promptly and accurately.
• Support general administrative and financial tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
Bookkeeper Requirements
• Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper with comprehensive knowledge of bookkeeping principles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, including advanced functions and reporting capabilities.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Experience performing bank reconciliations with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with AppFolio/Yardi or similar accounting software is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills in financial operations.
• High level of integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information.
